Intro Classes for the Younger Beginner
Intro Classes are the perfect introduction for our younger beginners. Our classes filled and closed so quickly we have added several new classes to the roster. Give us a call now so we can help you choose the best class for your child:
- Intro to Piano - 3:45pm on Mondays, 4:00pm on Wednesdays and 11:00am on Saturdays (4-6 years)
- Intro to the Instruments - 4:30pm on Fridays (4-6 years)
- Intro to the Recorder - TBD (4-6 years)
- Intro to the Ukulele - TBD (4-6 years)
- Intro to the Violin - 4:00pm on Wednesdays (6-8 years)
Intro to Music
This is a one semester small group class designed to introduce your child to the joy of music. While learning the fundamentals of music your child will sing, dance, and play instruments.
The semester-long class will include exploring the musical staff, learning to read and write notes and rhythms, and playing fun songs on a variety of instruments.
This class will provide a fabulous foundation for any instrument study and will build social and emotional skills through weekly interaction with peers. We will start by creating a huge musical staff with ropes on the floor, jumping from line notes to space notes, and learning how music notation works.
As the semester progresses, the teacher will determine the best match for private lessons based on your child's natural interests and learning style.
Each semester will conclude with a recital party and placement with the perfect teacher on the instrument best suited to your child.
We will group 4 - 5 children of like age and ability.
Each class will be 45 minutes with a 10 minute sharing time at the end to get homework and share what the class learned each week.
Tuition will be $38 per class, billed monthly.

Intro to the Ukulele
This fun class will explore basic concepts of the ukulele and fundamental musical skills as they apply to stringed instruments. Each child will learn to read TAB, rhythms, and how to play fun, short melodies and chord progressions.
This is a one semester small group class designed to introduce your child to the joy of playing the ukulele through fun games and exploration.
As the semester progresses, the teacher will determine the best match for private lessons based on your child's natural interests and learning style. Each semester will conclude with a recital party and placement with the perfect teacher. We will group 4 - 5 children of like age and ability.

Intro to the Violin
This Intro class will explore basic concepts of the violin. Students will learn how to identify the different parts of the violin, how to properly hold the violin in playing position, and how to pluck and bow the strings. Each child will also learn about the staff, start to read notes, rhythms, and play fun short songs.
This is a one semester small group class designed to introduce your child to the joy of playing the violin through fun games and exploration.
As the semester progresses the teacher will determine the best match for private lessons for your child's natural interests and learning style.
Each semester will conclude with a recital party and placement with the perfect teacher.

Each child will also learn about the staff, learn to read music, and play fun short songs.
As the semester progresses the teacher will determine the best match for private lessons or further study in another intro class for your child's natural interests and learning style.
Each semester will conclude with a recital party and placement with the perfect teacher.

Intro to the Recorder
This fun class is designed to introduce your child to the joy of playing the recorder through fun games and exploration. Students will learn how to hold the recorder and how to create a sound! Each child will also learn about the staff, start to read notes, rhythms, and play fun short songs. This is a terrific foundation for learning a wind instrument like flute, clarinet, or saxophone.
